The new Wildcat 400NSR has been developed to run in national level events such as the British Cross Country Championship or the French Tout Terrain series.

The Wildcat’s durability and performance offers a highly competitive package, whilst still retaining simplicity of construction, ease of servicing and accessibility, an essential requirement during events.

This package has enabled the car to attain overall victories in the French BAJA and the Scottish and Welsh hill rallies as well as overall victory in the MSA Hill Rally Championship and the Portuguese 24 hour race in 2008. The Wildcat 400NSR really delivers in outright reliability, matched only by its performance.

Based around a high strength tubular space frame the car provides excellent protection for the pilot with the minimum of weight. The space frame provides the key mounting points for the long travel dampers which give the car such superb performance over rough terrain.

The body is manufactured from composite fibre glass giving it a highly durable corrosion resistant finish.

For the 400NSR there are a number of engine variants from 4.0 litre to 4.6 litre V8 petrol units or a 3.0 litre V6 diesel. Power and torque from these units are matched to the drive train giving enviable acceleration times for the car.

Transmission options vary from the standard five speed unit through to the specially developed six speed sequential unit from Sadev. Transfer box ratios are variable as are the selection of differentials including LSD torque biasing and locking, according to customer preference.

The 400NSR Wildcat has the option of either eight Öhlins adjustable dampers or the 60mm Lithium units from Donerre. These systems offer unrivalled traction and durability for the car, giving consistent value for money.

Steering is via a quick ratio power assisted box with T45 steering bars to reduce inertia but maximise strength.

The 400NSR is fitted with four pot callipers on the front and single pot on the rear with the option of the Alcon Wildcat brakes that offer superb feel and control.

The interior is fitted with our own SPA programmable dash with multiple gauge options to monitor engine and transmission parameters with programmable warnings system.

As one would expect, the FIA approved seats are comfortable, safe and extremely durable, the shells being made from rigid composite material, with occupant security via a 6-point rally harness.
